Who we are

This website is run by ADL Consulting Services, Inc., based in Florida, USA. For anything about your information, contact us at contact@adlconsulting.com or 954-270-6936.

When you send us an enquiry

Our contact, consultation and information forms ask for your name, email address, phone number and message. We use them to reply to you. The form sends them to us by email and sends you a confirmation, and they stay in our mailbox as business correspondence.

To keep out automated spam, the forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person is filling them in.

When you use the question assistant

The question assistant answers from our own published content. When it needs help to phrase an answer, your question and the conversation so far are sent to our AI provider, Groq, to produce the reply. We do not keep conversations in a database.

Questions the assistant could not answer may appear briefly in our server logs, without your IP address or any other identifier, so we can add the answers you were looking for. Please do not type personal details into the assistant.

When you buy the handbook

Payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details, which never reach us, and the name, email address and country you enter at checkout. Stripe shares the name, email address, country, edition and amount with us.

Your name, email address and the date of purchase are printed on the cover page of the copy you download. That is a deterrent against the book being shared, and it is only in your copy.

We use them to deliver your download, email you the link, tell our team about the sale, and handle refunds and questions. We count how many times your link has been used, and that count is deleted automatically after about 5 days. Stripe keeps the purchase record as it is required to for accounting and tax.

When you make a payment on our payment page

Payments for our consulting services are handled by PayPal on PayPal's own site. We receive confirmation of the payment from PayPal, not your card or account details.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not set tracking cookies. Your browser remembers the language you choose for this site. That setting stays in your browser and is not sent to us.

Who else sees your information

Only the companies that help us run the website, each for its own part of the job:

• Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this website and so handles technical details such as your IP address and browser.
• Our web hosting provider, which runs our email and the enquiry forms.
• Stripe, for handbook purchases.
• PayPal, for payments on our payment page.
• Groq, for the question assistant.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.

Where your information is processed

We are based in the USA, and our providers process information in the USA and other countries. If you are in the EU or the UK, we rely on our providers' safeguards for international transfers.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we have to keep it, for example for tax records. Email contact@adlconsulting.com.

If you are in the EU or the UK, we use your information to fulfil your purchase, and to reply to the enquiries you send us. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Children

This website is meant for adults considering or running a laundromat business. It is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
